Grandma Debbie & Poppy came to visit for Easter. They spent all day on Good Friday with Ally, since Becky and I had to work. Lots of fun was had by all, including a 2/12 hour game of Monopoly, won by Poppy of course!
Catan Jr is another favorite game – that was played Thursday night when they arrived, and then on Friday all 3 of them were happy for movie night!
Ally and I bought a 1000 piece puzzle for them to do. As it turns out it was a little tricky, even for puzzle masters Debbie, Dave, Becky and Ally. Thursday night Ally was so excited to start the puzzle she had a hard time getting to sleep. But on Friday morning her excitement (pictured above) quickly wore off with the difficulty of the puzzle.
Saturday we went to our local park for a community Easter event – there was a bouncy house and an egg hunt.

Then it was time for the egg hunt.
We all agreed it was not really a “hunt” more like a gather – the eggs were literally spread out on the grass to grab.
But Ally had fun
And was delighted to open up the eggs at home and see what she got.
