Grandma Barbie came over on Thursday afternoon. Friday is a school holiday so she watched Ally all day and then was able to be here for our Halloween Party on Saturday. Thursday we picked Ally up at school together and then went to gymnastics. That night Ally picked a book for Grandma to read. She chose her photo book from her pick up trip. I thought that was so sweet – it was the first time she met Grandma Barbie and it was a special time getting to know each other in Guatemala, going to the Embassy and then flying to the US.
On Friday Ally and Grandma were busy. They made us dinner, did crafts and Ally put on 2 shows for us. Above is after Ally’s dance show. She was so hot she got a wet washcloth to help cool down. She loved rubbing her wet head on grandma to get grandma wet.
After the dance show it was dinner time. Ally ate chips and guacamole!
After dinner Ally had a bath and then gave us another show. She sang and acted out the 5 little pumpkins!
