Weekend in Columbus Ohio

Ally and I flew to Ohio for the weekend. Her UCLA Bruins gymnastics team is competing in the NCAA regional meet here. I contacted my brother Kurt and they were pretty busy this weekend but my cousin Katy agreed to host Ally and I. We’ve had a super fun time. This is our first time meeting Adelaide who is 2 and only our second time meeting Amelia.

Ally with her youngest cousins, Adelaide and Amelia.

Friday night we had dinner with her P.almer cousins.

Saturday morning playtime with the little ones.

Adelaide and Amelia dressed up like Elsa so we had Ally show them how to pose and model. It was hilarious. They kept looking at Ally and Ally would look at us like huh?

Big girl in the playroom

Reading to cousins

We had a morning snack at a local donut shop.

Then it was time for hide and seek back at the house. Can you spit Adelaide hiding above? Or Amelia down below?

Ally couldn’t fine Adelaide

But easily located Amelia.

Another hilarious moment when Ally couldn’t locate Adelaide hiding under the blanket in the basket above.
Adelaide started giggling and talking and still Ally was like “where is she?”

Some quiet puzzle time before lunch.
Then lunch, and nap time for all of us.

After lunch we headed to Ohio State.

The A.renshie.lds!

Jackson joined us for the afternoon and evening. There was a free Fan Fun Fest in the field house next to the arena for the meet. So we all went down for some bouncy house, art work, photo booth, corn hole and balloon fun.

Jackson was a great sport with his little cousins. He went in the bouncy house and down the slide with them

Ally skipped the bouncy and slide.

Amelia on the slide! Then Jackson!

Jim had to carry Adelaide up the rope ladder but then she slid down!

Of course once up there Jim had to slide down too. With Jackson.

While everyone else was enjoying the slide Ally made a sign to cheer on her Bruins.

There was a photo booth with silly glasses. We had all 4 kids go in. Love the pictures.

Ally and Javksonnplayed corn hole.

Katy and I did the photo booth too. Here is a selfie in our silly glasses.

Brutus the Ohio State mascot made an appearance. Adelaide and Ally refused to pose with him. That is as close as Amelia would get.

Jackson loved it!

We got a group picture! Then said good bye to the Aren.schiel.ds. It was time for the gymnastics meet to start.

Mommy and Ally selfie.

Before the meet Jackson told me he needed to eat real
Food and not just junk or he might get heartburn. Then he proceeded to eat cotton candy, a huge Coca Cola and nachos with jalapeƱos!

We had nice seats.

Excited before the meet started.

Thrilled and tired after the meet. Thumbs up that the Bruins won! Now they advance to the finals in two weeks.

Ally and Jackson. They are only 6 months apart in age. It was a fun time!
