NYC - Manhattan Gymnastics Meet 2019

We took the train down Friday night to NYC. Ally sprained her toe at practice on Wednesday so we took a taxi to our hotel instead of walking. Well we tried to take a taxi. He thought we said our hotel was on 48th street not 40th. At 42nd street we had him pull over and we walked the 2 blocks back to our hotel. 

After checking in we went out for some take out pizza slices at the same place as last year. Same hotel, same pizza- delish! Then bed time and up in the morning.

I was up and walking around Bryant Park at 8am for some coffee and pastries.

Ally is as tall as Gabby Douglas this year!! And she did wel shopping in the very cool Six O2 ladies shop at Foot Locker and kids for new sneakers.

Then more shopping at H&M

New shoes, new purse! She was loving it!!!

Then we met up with 2 of her team mates, Stella and Persifoni

We walked to lunch.

Girls loved their milkshakes. 

They did split handstands on the walk to the theater

Where we saw Mean Girls. It was fantastic.

After the show we did some more shopping around Times Square.

Ally and Persifoni did a photo booth at Forever 21.

Then we went to a store full of pillow type animals. It had a GIANT teddy bear. Of course that was a perfect backdrop for some gymnastics poses.

Then we met up with 5 more teammates and their families for dinner! The girls sat at one table and parents and a couple of brothers at a different table.

After dinner we walked over to Bryant Park.
