Week 3 Complete

Week 3 is done! It was a big week. We found out that Ally would only be there for 4 weeks total, so only one more week after this. Great News.
Becky and I were a little worried about transitioning back to school because next week is school vacation week and no one would be around to talk with or visit. The PPRC is amazing place and they managed to contact school and arrange for Ally to have a school visit on Thursday! Becky took the morning off to meet with the school counselor and the TR therapist from PPRC and I brought Ally to school. She was nervous, but we walked there and she did great.

When I picked her up a few hours later she was in good spirits. She got lots of practice talking to her friends, and doing the stairs. There was even a fire drill!

Ally and I collaborated on a tower made from paper during our family session in TR on Monday. I learned Ally is really good at foundation and strength. Which shouldn't be a surprise, but it was. I focused on height and not stability. Together our tower was better than either of the ones we made solo.

On Thursday we had TR with Isobel and her mom. This time it was girls vs moms.

Dropping from floor 2.

Ally's broke...see the yoke?

The moms' broke on floor 3. But Isobel's lasted until the 4th floor. Ally walked all the way up there with her. That is their faces peeking out over the edge.

Graduation week 3. Ally and Isobel are the only ones left from when they started. Next week they will graduate and make a tile for the ceiling.

Ally's goals and accomplishments from Week 3. Becky and I were a bit choked up watching Ally run on the treadmill on Friday during family PT, and then Ally proceeded to do round offs with a running start. Just like she used to. Hope and some validated confidence that Ally will eventually get back to her old self are fantastic feelings to have with one week left.
