We attended the Day of the Dead festival again this year at our local natural history museum.
The first thing we did before our friends arrived was write a message at the altar to our departed (dead) loved ones to tell them we missed them and were thinking of them.
This year the moms decided to get our faces painted as well as Rosa and Ally.

We met up with Alice and Cheryl to decorate sugar skulls.
Ally and Rosa then decorated masks and made flag banners before we headed outside to join the others for a picnic snack.
It was a beautiful day for November 2. Ally found a lady bug and we all headed to a local park to play for a while.

After the park it was off to lunch together.
