This month we celebrated Gabi’s 7th birthday. She hosted all the Guat Girls and many of her school friends at her house for a pony ride party.
I love the card Ally made for Gabi – its all 5 of the Guatemala Girls. When we got there the girls all ran to see the horses get unloaded, and then ran to get in line.
The horse was Starburst and the pony was named Charlie. Birthday girl Gabi rode first.
Roxie didn’t let her sling hold her back – she broke her collar bone last month ice skating.
Ally, Roxie, Gabi and Rosa kept waiting in lines to ride again and again.
The horses were there for an hour and Ally rode the whole time. Alice was a bit nervous, but she had fun riding with Rosa’s mom, Julie, then her mom and finally she rode with Gabi.
Roxie and Ally are so little, they could ride the pony together. They were the only ones lite enough to ride tandem, so at the end when everyone wanted to ride with a buddy, they got to stay on the horse for several loops.
Eventually we said good bye to the horses, ate some pizza, had cake and watched Gabi open all of her presents.
