Active!

Ally is becoming a very active little girl. She keeps us on our toes! When visiting Julie's office the other day, Ally desperately wanted to sit on the loveseat from Julie's Grandma Mimi.

We also went to a local indoor toddler gym. Ally loves going up and down the stairs!

Ally and I also had a blast chasing each other under the parachute.

Then she had this fascination with the door...
...while all this excitement was happening!

Friendly Fenway Park

Thursday afternoon we were able to go to see the Red Sox! We had fantastic seats - Julie's company had the tickets. And yes, these photos were taken from where we sat.

The one family shot we got at the game

All Ally really wanted was to sit in a seat of her own

Ally and her Yankees cap

Leaving the park via Yawkey Way

Ally was passed out about 3 blocks into the drive home

And, for the record (this IS Becky typing!) this was the only way Ally was happy with that Yankees cap near her!!! I supposed if Fenway was really friendly, we wouldn't have been nervous about getting the Yankees hat out at the park. Oh, and please don't forget what cap I wore in the family photo!!!

Wonderful Weather!

We've had fabulous weather recently - a lot of outside time! Ally has been walking to the park with us every day, going on the swings, and climbing up and down any stairs she can find. Here are some photos from the last week or so.

Ally has been fascinated by her big word book.

My book!

I love my book!

I can look at it for a very long time!

The mushrooms we bought for Saturday found their way into Ally's hands - and didn't leave without a bit of a disagreement! Apparently, the blue container empty was not as good as it was when it was full of mushrooms. As with everything these days, it was a dramatic moment of mushroom separation, but we quickly moved on to other fun things.

Muussshhrooooms

My mushrooms!

A walk to the park...

Some great smiles!

She is too darn cute!

And here's a bunch of mouth-open-I'm-so-excited photos!

Bubbles, Dresses, and Coupons

Here's the latest from the world of Ally.

Ally's favorite song is "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" followed closely by the "ABC's". When we start with one song, she signs and says "more" (well, it sounds like "mowaa, mowaa") until we sing again.

Ally is saying a lot of words now...her favorites are "ball", "cat", "dog", "bye-bye", and of course, "no". Oh, and a car is a "beep beep!" complete with horn-pushing motion.

She still loves her chair, as you can see below.

Hmm, let's look at the coupons

$1.00 off Gerber Puffs! Yes!

A fun playdress from the awesome second-hand store

A stool! Yes! Now I can reach the buttons on the microwave!!

Slow week

Not many pictures to share this week. Its been a rough work week for me, so that means Becky is on Super-Mom duty. What that means for all of you is not too many pictures. Here are some from Monday. It was a bad hair day for Ally in the morning, but I think she still looks cute, and by the afternoon her hair had calmed down.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Ally!

Weekend Review

Beth came to babysit this weekend. She had some ferry troubles getting over to the mainland from Nantucket but did manage to get here. Aunt Beth came to babysit Ally all day on Saturday. Becky and I attended an adoption conference in the morning and then spent the afternoon shopping and out together, without Ally. It was weird and fun all at the same time. Ally had a great time with Beth on Saturday, and then today Sunday all she wanted was us.

The pictures are courtesy of Beth - who wanted to document Ally's delight in the bunny ears from Great Aunt Pam. Thanks Aunt Pam!
I think in the picture above Ally is looking for her belly button.
Bunny ear fun!
I just think the drool in these pictures is too funny - you can see the bubble and then it drip on to her shirt. Gee - I guess Ally is teething!

This is a picture I took last week - I just wanted to share!
