Birthday Party at the Park

Recently we went to a birthday for one of Ally's friends. Jack just turned 2 - he is the youngest of her neighborhood group, and Ally is the oldest. We are solucky to have such a great group of families that live nearby. Ally was excited about cupcakes. I was excited that I could get her hair in ponytails, even though we had it cut recently.

Frosting lips! The cutest thing happened - Ally likes the frosting, but not the cake. Her friend, who she is sitting next to, Miro likes the cake but not the frosting. At the last birthday party they were at together they both wanted more of what they liked, and refudes to finish their own cupcakes, so Becky and Miro's mom switched their plates and they traded the uneaten parts of the cupcakes. So at this party when Ally was done with the frosting I sat her down next to Miro and they traded. Miro eats the cupcake from the bottom up so he hands over the frosted cupcake top and Ally licks off all the frosting and hands over the unfrosted bottom.

It was Brilliant!

It was such a nice party at the park. Finally this weekend we had nice weather - the first 4 days of nice weather in about 4 weeks.
