This year we made it to the beach almost every day. The weather was spectacular – lots of sun and quite warm. Ally loved the beach – playing in the sand, making drip castles, throwing the Frisbee, wading in the ocean to look for shells. Everything was fun to her this year about the beach.
I take pictures of the walk down to the beach every year. Ally is always holding Grandma or Beck’s hand. Each year I feel a but nostalgic wondering when she won’t hold our hand any more.
Aunt Martha and Becky walked down to the water while Ally worked on her push ups.
Drip castles and Frisbee
Of course in between throws Ally would be doing handstands.
What trip to the beach is complete without rolling around and trying to bury yourself in the sand?
This year there was a tide pool that Ally enjoyed walking in and searching for shells. I love how she clung tightly to Becky the whole time.
I asked Ally before we went if she would ride while I pushed the stroller and she enthusiastically said yes. So I rented a stroller again this year to take a walk everyday. The problem was when we walked on the beach we got distracted by the water and looking for shells. A very nice woman took our picture above.
Ally still loved to chase the seagulls.
One morning Becky joined us and we flew our kite – that is it in the above right picture. And below are a couple pictures an amateur photographer took of us, she said loves to take pictures of families while on vacation and then she emailed us the pictures.
This group is my favorite set – and Becky took them on our first day there on her iPhone while I went shopping with my mom and Aunt.
No trip is complete without seeing the sunset!
