I’m all about making lemonade and this is the best lemonade we’ve had in a long time. The weather here is spectacular. This is our third visit to Coronado in 3 years but our first stay here at “the del”. It’s pretty fantastic. We have a suite with a balcony overlooking the front entrance but you can see the bay and the ocean as well.
In the morning we’ve had a seagull visiting while we eat breakfast in our room. I get up early and walk to town and bring back bagels for breakfast.
The first day we rented lounge chairs and umbrellas down at the beach. Amazing!
Ally even played in the ocean. Day 2 we spent at the pool. Today we rented a car and drove to LaJolla for the day. And tomorrow we will be back at the beach.
Friday we leave to go home. Becky and I keep saying this vacation is just what we all needed. Total relaxation.
Sunday we hung out at the pool until our room was ready and then walked into town for dinner at our favorite pizza place.

Ally had a blast making videos of her slinging her hair back. It was a riot. We have lots of videos but we also took a photo burst to catch it photo form for the blog:

Then to our surprise she said she wanted to swim and go all the way in. Becky of course loved that.

I asked one of the attendants to take a picture of us. We were all reading on our kindles in the shade under our umbrellas. Becky and I got a little sunburned from our time down at the ocean but it was worth it.
Ally read an entire book that day. And had fun reading.
