November 1-7, 2020

IT WAS A HISTORY MAKING WEEK.
Very emotional, lots of anxiety for all of us and our nation but by Saturday we had a new President Joe Biden and VP Kamal Harris.

Sunday was Dia de los Muertes Day of the Dead and so Guatemala Girls gathered at Roxie’s house to paint pumpkins and make s’mores.

I thought Ally’s pumpkin came out great.

Becky was tired out from Youth Group.

But Monday morning Ally had fun spoon feeding Daisy milk from her cereal bowl before school.

Tuesday I voted!!! Becky did too. My act of Trump defiance was to vote in person on Election Day.

The election stress and a long day of school tired out Ally. Our family was really hoping and praying for a Biden-Harris win.

Still no election final decision on Tuesday but Ally went back to practice.

Beth came over for dinner and she and Becky geeked out over results.

Ally and her pets.

Finally Saturday morning Biden was declared the winner!

Even Daisy raised her paws in excitement.

Saturday evening Ally’s team had a mock meet. Ally was not slated to compete. She’s just not ready yet for competition after so many months out, but she dressed and went to support her teammates.
