Provincetown August 29-31, 2022

Months ago Beth decided she wanted a beach vacation this summer. She didn’t want to drive very far, she wanted a pool with easy beach and pool access. She found a hotel in Provincetown and invited us and Debbie and Dave to get rooms there as well. So we all did.
Beth stayed 5 nights, Ally and I and Cloey stayed 2 nights, Debbie and Dave spent 3 nights and Becky stayed 4 nights. It was a really nice time for all of us.

Monday afternoon when we arrived Ally and I sat at the beach with Cloey.

The rest of the family stayed at the pool. Ally got so tired from 2 hours in the sun and traveling that she took a nap and didn’t feel well enough to go out to dinner.

Beth and Becky took a sunset walk

Ally snuggled in with Cloey.

I was up early as usual and was thrilled to see how low the tide went out. It was so cool.

Becky got up later and waded in with Cloey. My selfie above was taken at the buoy behind Becky and it was dry land then.

We spent the morning at the beach. Cloey is always happiest with or next to or on top of Becky.

It was really hot in the shade, and hot in the sun.

Another nap.

Afternoon at the pool.

Dinner outside at the hotel’s courtyard. We had Pizza.

And played Heads Up around the fire pit after dinner. It was so much fun.

We all laughed so much.

And in the morning Ally agreed to get up early and check out the low tide with Cloey and me.

Becky came out too.

This is my favorite picture of the trip! The sky behind Ally is so pretty.

Grandma Debbie and Beth came out too.

Cloey needed to be washed after all that time in the bay. The hotel had a dog wash station.

Group photo before Ally left to go home.
