We had a great weekend. Shopping, out to dinner (the 3 of us), playing, stuff around the house, and a trip to the zoo. Of course we had to visit the gorillas and they were incredible - we saw the little one throwing a ball and playing with a milk crate. The big guy was dragging around a blanket and we talked about maybe it was his "special toy" like Ernie is Ally's "special toy". We saw lots of activity in the gorilla enclosure, and even witnessed one thump his chest like in the book. It was great. We have lots of pictures of the animals at the zoo, so we only took some of Ally enjoying the 60 degree weather and the fall leaves.
