Last weekend my parents came to visit. My mom came with me to pick Ally up at school (so Ally was able to skip after school program) on Friday. Ally was so excited to see us at school. Hard to say if her excitement was more about us or about not having to go to After School. But either way she showed Grandma the cafeteria, the school garden, the 2 playgrounds and Grandma got to meet some of Ally's classmates as well. Then I went back to work and the two of them (with Grandpa Frank napping) had fun together at home for the rest of the afternoon.
For dinner we met Uncle Frank at Legal Seafood.

The Franks ordered a seafood feast! Ally was brave enough to touch the lobster body. We talked bout how they turn red they are cooked. Ally also thought it was funny that Grandpa and Uncle had to wear bibs to eat.
After dinner we went back to our house for homemade apple pie, and a belated birthday celebration for Frank.
Grandma Barbie brought a dinosaur puzzle for Ally. The 2 of them tried on Friday to complete it, but on Saturday mama worked on it with Ally.
Ally was so excited to finish it. She insisted we call Grandma and tell her.
