Flagstaff Part 1

We made our annual trip to Flagstaff to visit Aunt Suzie and Gruncle this week.
There was a plane mix-up and so we didn't get to sit together. Ally and I set next to each other in the back of the plane.

Becky sat solo in the middle. But it was a pretty good flight to Phoenix and an easy flight to Flagstaff after that. But we were all so tired that after a delicious dinner at home we went to bed early.

Ally slept all by herself in the den again this year.
Well not really alone, McKenna came on the trip with us and she shared a room with Ally.
Sunday morning after breakfast we went to the Farmer's Market.
Aunt Suzie found kohlrabi
Ally was delighted with strawberries, strawberry lemonade and honey!

Gruncle carried the corn.
Becky watched the guy roasting chili peppers!
There is a Coca Cola distribution center nearby that sells soda cans for $0.25 Ally bought me some Diet Coke!
Gymnastics, she just can't stop.
Ally talked Gruncle into a Beanboozled challenge. It's Jelly Belly jelly beans that either taste good or gross. They look the same, and you don't know if you got Pear or Grass Clipping until you taste it. There are many combination possibilities, like chocolate pudding or dog poop, tutti fruiti or rotten fish, blueberry or toothpaste. It's gross. Becky always plays too.

Then it was time for a swim. Ally did some great jumping challenges, and a really nice synchronized swim routine I made up for her. At the end she dried off like this with Gruncle while I soaked in the hot tub. Becky and Suzie started on their Spite and Malice tournament, by the time we left they played 20 games, Becky won 11 Suzie 9.

Ally couldn't resist the playground at the pool.

After swimming it was shower time and then Church and dinner. Ally was exhausted and actually fell asleep in the car.
What an amazing first full day!
