Liem, Ally and Khai patiently humoring us for photos before Easter baskets, well it was bags this year.
Opening their Easter bags: Mad Libs, pencils, note pads, putty, a squishy ball and a couple other fun trinkets.
After a delicious breakfast the kids had an Easter Egg hunt, 12 hard boiled and 60 plastic eggs to find.
The hunt was serious. Khai branched out on her own, which was a great strategy as she found the most eggs with 29!
It's always fun to see what is inside.
After the egg hunt Becky, Ally and I headed into London to visit with our friends from the Pain Clinic
That is Isobel in the middle with her mom Annabel and her dad Rupert and brother Edward and sister Emmy. There were so lovely to meet and we will be seeing more of Annabel and Isobel later this week.
They brought us to a local garden which was straight out of a movie, they have gated gardens and residents of the neighborhood get a key to access them. We had the whole place to our selves and it was beautiful and so peaceful.
The kids played games, and the grown ups went for a walk around the neighborhood.
We even saw Agatha Christie's house
We met up back at their house for a fashion show:
Ally tried on Isobel's school uniform (they call it a costume here in England). This is the winter costume. It has a cape and red hat. Then underneath is the grey pleated skirt, white blouse, blue sweater and red cotton tights.
The spring/summer costume is adorable, straw boater, blue blazer, dress and white socks!
Then Annabel and Isobel took us on a tour of major London sights. It was amazing to be driven around to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Victoria Statue, Trafalager Square, Picadelly Circus, and many other sights. What a treat.
Annabel dropped us off closer to home and while waiting for our Uber we attempted a family selfie. A little blurry but lost of smiles from a fun day.
When we got home Becky made deviled eggs and Ally tried a new food, crumpets!!!
She was not a huge fan, but ate about a third of it. Then she tried a new breakfast cereal and liked that too!
Such a fun and friend filled Day 2 in London.
