November 5-15, 2021

The week following Ally’s surgery was very weird. We were all in shock. Fortunately Ally had very little pain. She was very tired but that’s about the only issue. She actually went back to school on Wednesday!

After surgery Ally stayed home a couple of days to rest and recover. She played PS5 we did some puzzles, she spent lots of time with Cloey and Daisy.

An afternoon nap.

Excited to get a new coloring book and markers from her 3 cousins in Ohio!

We were all home on November 11 and we had a family conversation about how well Ally has been. She’s been keeping up with school work, therapy, using coping strategies, dealt with her pain and surgery in a mature well. Asked for help when she needed it, talked to us, listened to us and the doctors. Becky and I thought she deserved a reward for so much amazing behavior. Ally works hard at school and home and life. We are so proud of her.
Ally said she would like a new vanity for her bedroom.
Above is the old one she has had for many years.

Mama went to IKEA to get the new one and Cloey waited patiently for her return.

The new one all set up with a nee bench and lots of compartments to organize makeup.

Ally is so loved. She got lots of cards and get well wishes in the mail.

She went to movie night at school on Saturday. Got home pretty late but was in good spirits.

Sunday morning cuddles.

Ally completed her intensive therapy program she has been in since February 2020. We had our last family session on the 15th. We worked hard together and individually. This is a huge accomplishment.
