Every day my dad takes Java, his dog, out in the car so she can go someplace and run and swim. He offered to bring Ally with him on Sunday morning. She was pretty excited about it, so we installed her car seat in the backseat of his car, and I sat in the front passenger seat. This meant Java and Ally shared the back seat. Ally thought that was pretty fun.
As soon as we arrived at the pond Dad got the ball and started throwing it to Java.
Ally thought it would be fun to walk around the pond.
Then before we left she ran around it and had me time her – it took 90 seconds for her to run around it!
When we got back in the car Dad offered to take us to Grandma Barbie’s old school. Ally was excited to see it, and then when we got there we saw these amazing playgrounds. So we had to stop and let Ally run around and explore them.
After the playgrounds we drove to a maple farm and purchased a big jug of maple syrup for Becky, and Ally had her first taste of maple sugar candy – YUMMY.
I would have thought the playgrounds were the high light of the morning, but on the way home we saw 2 cows walking on the side of the road. They had escaped from their pen. Java started barking at them and the cows started running. Yes 2 cows being chased down the road by 3 people and a dog in a SUV. Boy did those cows moooooooo-ve.
It was so funny. Grandpa Frank said we herded cows with our car!
