Early Morning on the Lake

Ally and I get up early, like 6-630am take Cloey out for the bathroom then feed Cloey and then the 3 of us head down to the lake while Becky sleeps in.

That is our cabin Wicopy for the 2nd year. We love the view of the lake.

And the grounds

One morning the lake was covered in fog but we watched a trio of loons. It was 2 parents and a young loon. The adults were diving for fish and then feeding the young one. It was incredibly neat to watch.

When we arrived at the lake one loon had a fish in its mouth!

Ally spotted a huge frog in the water.

As the fog lifted the loons swam away and we headed back to the cabin. We woke Becky up, crated Cloey and headed down to the lodge for breakfast. This has been our morning routine. Then after breakfast we go fishing.

And she caught her own fish!
