Ally starts every morning in Hawaii the same way she does at home, with a cup of chocolate milk, a bowl of dry multi-grain Cheerios and watching a PBS show.
After she's had her fix above then she comes out to join us on the lanai. Today she did some art.
A rousing game of Sleeping Queens followed.
Then we 3 headed out to the Beach Club. Guests at our resort aren't supposed to use the facilities next door, we can go to the beach, but not use the chairs or hang out at the pool. But Phil used his considerable charms and got us passes to use the stuff there. We had a fun time. But we agreed that our pool was better.
Becky was excited to snorkel some more, but there was nothing to see! It was just sand and more sand. Ally and I thought the water was chilly so we quickly headed to the pool.
As you can tell we had a blast at the pool. It's a GIANT pool. There are fountains all around.
We had lunch at our chairs. When the sun got hot we headed back to our pool. ally had changed into a dry swimsuit. And when we arrived at our pool she said to me "this is so relaxing" Becky was a little sunned out so she went back to the condo for a shower and some climate control.
I suggested to Ally that she read in the hammock. She was there for 70 minutes! She finished one book, we walked back to our condo and she got another book and read for more.
I posted on Facebook that she was doing homework "Hawaii style"
She stopped reading when Gruncle came to swim. He got right in and went down the slide.
That is not Ally at the bottom, it's some other girl Gruncle made friends with.
They swam for a while.
Then Aunt Suzie came over. She threw the ring for a long time for Ally.
After dinner is more games. Gruncle and Ally were a team, in Sleeping Queens and Uno.
Can you tell Ally won at SQ?
It was a bad night for me. We played 6 games of Uno and everyone else won 2 games and I won 0.
It was still fun. (Sort of)
