Birthday Party Fun & a Haircut

It's Birthday Party Season again.

Last weekend Ally went to a party for one of her gymnastics teammates, Persifoni was 12 years old and had a party a roller rink.

Ally had never been roller skating before. It was a long party - 4 hours and it was about an hour a way. Another gym mom picked Ally up and brought her home and sent us some pictures and a hilarious video of Ally falling down.

Eating pizza and cake with her team mates.

A smile on skates. Ally said she didn't last long skating. She hung out with her friends for most of the time and did silly things like:

Pose on the rink floor in a Scorpion with sneakers on (not skates)

Take selfies in a mirror with Stella (whose face is hidden) while Persifoni photo bombs.
It was a late night but fun. Ally is becoming such good friends with her team mates and is loving gymnastics more and more.

She used her selfie stick and took the picture above in the sunlight in her room. I had to copy it from Instagram.  I asked her how come she never smiles like that when I take her picture. She had no answer.

It had been about 3 months since her last hair cut. She was getting desperate. So Saturday she got a cut - about 3" off the length and lots of layers. She was so happy.
Loves it. Loves her long hair with layers.

It was a busy Sunday too. I didn't take any pictures though.
Ally went to Ellie's birthday party - and I drove her and 5 friends to the "escape room-type Boda.Borg" Sunday morning at 10:15 and then back to Ellie's house for lunch and cake. Another parent brought her home at 3:55 and at 4:00 our Newtown Family group got together for  dinner and games at our house. They left around 8:30.
Phew it was a really long day.

Fun to see so many friends. But exhausting too.
