School started last week and one of Ally’s anxieties was that “we did not do everything she wanted to do over the summer” I asked what we did not do and the one thing she latched onto was going to the beach. I explained that even though school started it was still technically summer. I suggested we go to the beach over the weekend. The forecast was perfect. Not too hot and not very windy.
Ally was thrilled! She and Becky made a really neat sand castle. We went for very long walks on the beach.
When the tide went out Becky carried Ally out to the sand bar for some Frisbee. And of course no trip to the beach is complete with out searching for shells.
It was a very fun day.
