Italy Day 7: Last Stop Rome!

This morning we slept in, got pastries at a local bakery for breakfast and packed up our stuff to travel to Rome. The last and final city on our trip.

Ally loves her bed in the hotel. I’m thrilled that all the hotels were good.

After a quick break we headed out to a restaurant nearby, another great Beth find.

Ally’s favorite song right now, Girls Like You by Maroon Five came on the radio in the restaurant and to embarrass Ally, Beth and Becky started singing and dancing to the music.

Then we walked to the Trevi Fountain



The legend is if you throw a coin in the fountain you will come back to Rome someday. 

It was a long very hot and sunny walk back to the hotel after the fountain. So we had a nice long break in our hotel and then headed out to dinner. A friend recommended we eat at Pasta Chef. It was yummy.

The song Lola came on in the restaurant so of course we had to sing along and embarrass Ally again. 

Lola Lo Lo Lo Lo Lola.....

One last gelato and then it was back to the hotel and early to bed. We were tired.
