Last week Ally attended her first week of Spanish Camp. Its at our local community center and only runs 9-12 3 days a week. Ally had a BLAST. She loved it. Her friend Willow is there too, and some other friends from school. There were a ton of crafts, and Ally is always happy if she can do a craft and everyday she came home with 2 or 3 projects. Here are some of them.
The theme was Farm / Farm animals and on the last day the children got to pet real live animals. Ally was in her glory - a bunny, pigs, duckies, chicks and a goat.
And she knows all the names in Spanish.
The instructor told Becky that Ally's Spanish comprehension is very good and she was impressed that Ally knew as much as she did, considering she has had no exposure since school was out 6 weeks ago.
Ally ties very hard and really wants to learn Spanish we are so proud of her.
Just a sample of some of the projects.
Summer weeks 6 & 7 were extremely busy for Ally and Becky - not only was there camp and gymnastics which we cut back to 1 day a week - Ally attended swimming lessons 3 days a week!
Here she is playing on Becky's phone while she waits for the pool to open.
Ally continues to improve at swimming and I think her favorite thing is swimming underwater.
