Mardi Gras Meet

Ally spent the day binge watching Dance Moms to distract herself about her 5:45pm gymnastics meet. She had lots of time to snuggle with her pets and she worked hard at eating nutritious and protein packed food. 

Meet day breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast and strawberries.

She loved having both of her pets at once.




Ready to leave for meet. She totally didn’t want her picture taken.

But in the car she was happily listening to music and playing games on her phone.

Aunt Beth came to this meet.

So excited to see her team mates Eliana and Kavi.

Team line up.

First up floor. Ally’s favorite. She did great 9.20

High five with coach after the event.

Next up was vault. Ally scored a 9.05.

And then bars. Below she is with her teammates Persifoni and Stella getting chalked up for bars. 

And warming up on bars- mid fly away.

9.05 on bars too.

It was a long wait for beam. And it was a rough a event. 7.65 ally had two falls.

But the scores were enough that she placed 6 All Around. And was pretty happy with her 2 second place finishes on bars and floor and 5th on vault.

Her team finished 5th.

She was pretty happy.

Her coach pulled me aside to talk about beam and what seems to be a mental block and anxiety nerves issue for Ally. We will try and work on that for the meet next week.

But happy girl = happy moms.
