Coronacation Week 11 May 24-30

This week included Memorial Day. And the big celebration for us was that we found and purchased a freezer!  It feels like such an accomplishment! And it’s a great ego boost to Becky and me that we got it from the car, in the house, down the stairs to the basement and installed. We did also buy a small appliance dolly and that helped a lot.

This week Ally had 2 tumble play dates, we did a puzzle, some art and ate some delicious food.

Ally has started sleeping on the 3rd floor so she can sleep with Cloey.

And sometimes Daisy too.

I cut Becky’s hair again.

Tumbling and leaping and jumping with Eliana.

Becky made another batch of masks. I think her total now is around 150.

The puzzle, which was actually harder than it looks.

While Becky drove to pick up the freezer I made room
in the basement.

We rewarded ourselves with Root beer floats!

Pet costumes were selected and ordered. Above Daisy is in a Troll headdress and below Cloey is sleeping in her wedding dress.

But the highlight was Cloey in her wizard costume.

Oranges for breakfast.

I spent some time on the porch when Becky went to school one morning.

She took a picture of her classroom. 30 desks. No way to have that many and still maintain social distancing in September. It will be interesting to see what will happen.

Ally went to Mari’s house to tumble. That’s Ally on the trampoline. Unfortunately the date was cut short because Ally started to have a bad reaction to the tree pollen. Her eyes swelled up and she was super uncomfortable. It was not good. Eye drops, a shower, Benadryl and 14 hours of sleep is what it took to recover.

Cloey really doesn’t like sharing Becky’s lap with the computer.

Becky’s outfit. I told her she was looking a little too coordinated.

An amazing feast for dinner one night; pulled bbq chicken, roasted asparagus and homemade potato salad.

Ally is loving spending time with her pets.

And on Saturday Ally went to Beth’s house while a Becky and I attended a small memorial service for a co-worker and friend’s wife. It was the longest any of us had been out of the house and socializing with people other than just the 3 of us in 11 weeks.

3 weeks for Becky and 4 weeks for Ally until the end of School. I get back into my office a bit more each week but until school is out I’ll continue to work from home mostly.
