This 4th of July was fairly laid back for us. If we are in town we typically go to the zoo - but it rained all morning today so we decided to wait and do that this weekend. Instead we spent the morning reading, playing and watching some TV. Ally was delighted that Nali wanted to lie next to her on the couch. I think he has decided that attention and snuggling from anyone is good enough.
Its so hot here that I won't let him near me and Becky has been sewing up a storm and is rarely sitting down on the couch to pet him.
We went to the pool for some swimming and lunch on the patio.
Where we were able to watch the Blue Angels make their practice flights!
Then we had friends over for dinner and fun - games, coloring and adult conversation.
Above are Ally, Stella and her sister Violet, I think they look so festive in their red, white and blue outfits!
