After we left our campsite we drove to an orchard to pick blue berries. It was the third time we'd picked blueberries but a first for Cheryl and Alice.

It was hot hot hot - but Ally and Becky and I did not think it was as hot as last summer when we picked them. We talked about how in the summer, sometimes its hot and you just do things anyway even though its hot.

It was a fun weekend - we were glad Alice and Cheryl could join us and sorry that Tom (Alice's dad was unable to come.)
This was the start of our summer weekend trips - we're traveling most of them for the rest of the summer, if they are all as much fun as this was we're in for a fabulous summer.
