Kaitlin enjoyed touching the sting rays. They were at the Aquarium for a few hours and then Ally and I arrived - Becky took the girls to ride the carousel, and then meet up with Grandma and me at Quincy Market.
Kaitlin had made a list of things she wanted to do in Boston, and one of her most requested items was to eat at the Ghirardelli shop. She is obsessed with chocolate.
She chose this sundae because it came with a chocolate bar on top. She didn't actually eat the whole thing - but did a good job on it all by herself.
Ally chose a single scoop mint chocolate chip ice cream cone.
Mom, Becky and me shared the butter-pecan sundae - it was YUMMY
After ice cream, Becky took Kaitlin on the T - it was Kaitlin's first trip on a subway - to Fenway Park for a tour. Ally had a birthday party to go to, so I took Ally and Barb home.
Kaitlin is of course a Yankees fan - so here she was at the home of the enemy. Sitting at the Green Monster!
Kaitlin said the red chair was her favorite thing - the red seat is the longest home run in the history of the park- Ted Williams hit the ball 502 feet on June 9, 1946.
while Ally was at the party, I got lobster sandwiches for dinner - those were a hit too!
