Christmas Day 2011 was pretty amazing.

Ally slept until 830 - we actually woke her up so she would have a chance to settle in before all of the company arrived from their hotels.

Santa came!

I carried Ally into the living room to show her the stockings all filled and the presents left under, around and next to the tree.

Then she changed and settled in with her chocolate milk and cheerios for everyone to arrive and open presents! But first some photos.

Look at all of these stockings!

Uncle Frank looks like Rudolph!

Ally loved opening her stocking. She got lots of fun stuff in it, a handmade crayon holder/roll, some
legos, 2 candy canes, a new toothbrush and toothpaste, a head lamp, and a new book, just to name a few of the things in there.

Family - it was so
nice to have
so many people visiting for the holiday.

Ally waited patiently for all of the adults to open their stockings

Becky and I got matching paper rings - so we could
practice for the wedding the next day!

Ally poised to open her big gift!

a new doll house!

Aunt Beth got a new luggage set

Uncle Frank got a dog blanket that Becky made for him

Uncle Phil got a personalized T shirt

So did Aunt Martha

and Grandpa Frank

and Grandma Barbie was so pleased with herself for the matching / personalized T shirts!

Becky got a new Kindle

Ally was very excited to get a new rocking chair for Baby and Kitty

But she tells everyone her favorite gift was her new camera. Thank-you Uncle Frank.
We all received such wonderful and generous gifts, and having so much family present was a present all in itself.
The funniest thing to me is that Ally received 4 jump ropes this year:
1) from Lauren
2) in her stocking from Santa
3) from Aunt Beth
4) from Grandma Debbie & Poppy
she was quite excited to get the one from Lauren - it came first before Christmas, and Ally was so pleased to know she was getting one - she kept it under the tree until Christmas. Having 4 means she can share with her friends.
