New Year's Eve

This New Year's Eve we decided to go downtown to check our First Night. There was a big Family Festival at the Convention Center, and our favorite singer was playing. (This would be the 3rd time we've heard E. M..itchell perform live). It was fantastic as usual and Ally's friend Willow and her mom came and joined us. Ally was so into it this time, she actually got up and danced and she sang along to every song.

After the show we met up with Olive and her mom and made New Year's hats.
After the crafts we ventured outside to see the ice sculptures.
Ally and Willow had a blast running around the Common.
The 3 girls (left to right) Ally, Willow and Olive on the Make Way for Ducklings statues.
Which were all decked out with party wear for the celebration.
Becky was feeling so sick she went home and missed out on the ducklings, dinner, and the parade. But Ally and I had fun with Willow and her parents.
Ally is such a grown up girl now. We took the bus downtown and back, and she sat in the seat all by herself. Hard to believe she will turn 6 in 2012. I tell her she will always be mu little girl no matter how big or old she gets.
As I said in a prior post 2011 was a great year. They are all in The Life of Ally and I'm 2012 will be amazing and special and wonderful too.
