We are hosting our annual Halloween Party tomorrow at our local Community Center. We invited over 50 kids and 30 have said yes which plus siblings and adults means we have 70 on our RSVP list!
We have been hard at work this week after school and work doing party preparations.
We drew jack-o-lantern faces on clementines
I drew the letters for a HUGE banner and Ally painted in all the letters by herself.
Becky drilled 140 holes in a foam pumpkin and then she and Ally put all the lollipops into the holes. On the right Ally is playing ghost bowling! We have a small foam pumpkin as the ball and paper towel rolls with ghost eyes drawn on them as pins.
Another game is called Witch Pitch – Becky cut out a witch hat out of black foam core and then we hot glued candy corn on the brim. Ally and I decorated small buckets and those are what you pitch candy corn into. Grandma Barbie, Ally and Becky had fun trying it out.
And a costume preview – Ally has decided to wear her Queen costume for the party. She was so excited to try it on the other night. She said “its exactly what I pictured.” Last year on Halloween night at bedtime Ally told us next she she wanted to be a queen and described the costume to us. When I saw this in the store last month I had to get it for her.
Now all we need is for t he party to get started!
