Ally’s school had a Hispanic Heritage Celebration recently - it was an all school Potluck Dinner and then a few school groups performed. Ally’s Latin Dance class performed two dances – a Salsa and a fast dance – I have no idea what it was called but it was to the song Danza Kudro. I was arrived at practice early one day and recorded a practice session – then Ally could do it at home. She and Alice had fun watching it and Ally danced along to the video.
When we arrived at school – it was a bit chaotic – lots of people – we quickly tracked down the Latin Dance group and practiced some more until it was time for the performance. During one of the practice sessions Ally was paired with a boy (one of 2 in the class) to dance the Salsa. It was adorable to watch them dance.
Ally shaking it and spinning and having a blast at the performance.
Ally with her friend Willow – they danced together the Salsa during the performance and were next to each for the Danza Kudro number. They have a blast together.
Our family. Becky and I were so proud of Ally.
It was late – the dance started at 7pm and Ally was wiped so we left as soon as her performance was over and went right home and to bed.
